Relax and enjoy the festival activities and atmosphere in Northernhay Gardens

Food and Drink Pavilions
At the heart of the Festival is the fantastic array of food and drink produced within the region. This year the Festival has grown once again and will now feature 3 large pavilions of producers, plus others throughout the gardens and in Exeter Castle. The food and drink pavilions will provide something for everyone with plenty to taste and buy.
Make use of the Food Crèche to store all your purchases in a chilled environment enabling you to continue enjoying the Festival – this will be run by the Royal Agricultural Benevolent Institution (RABI). Be sure to look at the producer’s directory which lists all the producers attending the Festival.
The food and rink pavilions are generously supported by Mole Valley Farmers and Spar.

‘Food is Fun’ Marquee
The ‘Food is Fun’ marquee boasts an action packed line up to entertain the whole family during the festival. Join Education Ranger James, as he delves in to the deep blue sea, spring to life with Exeter City Football Club, get noisy in the head to head battle between the Cubs and Brownies and watch Lesley Waters, Peter Gorton and Matt Corner battle it out with their teams during the live filming of ‘Classy Chefs’ for ITV Westcountry.
Fun for the whole family awaits as Chef Ron cooks the perfect Sunday roast with help from Well Hung Meat Company, the Riverford team and children from Montgomery Primary School. While adults can join Susy Atkins, Sunday Telegraph wine expert and Saturday Kitchen regular, as she educates your senses with the regions finest wines.
There’s plenty more fun and antics planned, but if there’s any spare time, why not enter our ‘Paperplate Dinners’ competition? Create a 3D model of your favourite food and win the chance to go for a walk on the wild side.
The marquee is kindly sponsored by Darts Farm and Castles Kitchens.

The West Country Café
The Boston Tea Party & Miles Tea & Coffee will once again be bringing their famous fare to this year’s Festival. The Café will offer an array of delicious homemade & locally sourced sandwiches & cakes to satisfy the appetite of the hungriest festival goer.
The Café will also be on hand to revive and refresh by providing its famed coffee & tea – supplied by award winning local & traditional tea blender & coffee roaster, D J Miles & Co (www.djmiles.co.uk) and made by The Boston Tea Party’s (www.bostonteaparty.co.uk) expert baristas – as well as homemade lemonade, freshly squeezed orange juice & healthy smoothies.
