Day 1
Check in to your accommodation, options range from luxury hotels to quaint B&B's.
Head for the Clifton Suspension Bridge and enjoy an entertaining free guided tour of Bristol's most famous landmark with its incredible city views.
Stroll amongst wonderful Georgian architecture of Clifton Village and browse the many up-market independent shops and boutiques selling jewellery, art, gifts, furniture, fashion and more.
Complete your time in Clifton with a visit to Bristol Zoo Gardens and try out the new aerial ropes course or hand feed the lorikeets in the Zoo's latest exhibit, Explorers Creek.
Day 2
Explore Bristol's historic Harbourside - the once busy working dock is now an attractive, modern development. Hop on a Bristol Ferry for a great way to see the harbour from a different perspective.
Visit award winning Brunel's ss Great Britain and experience what life was like aboard the world's first ocean-going, propeller driven iron ship.
Enjoy lunch at one of the harbour's many restaurants, bars or cafés.
Join Pirate Pete for a guided walking tour of the harbour, covering a maritime history of discovery, trade, slavery and piracy.
Day 3
Take an exciting interactive journey through the workings of the world around us at Explore-At-Bristol.
Hunt for original graffiti art by Bristol born Banksy or visit the Arnolfini Gallery and Spike Island art space.
Treat yourself and dine in style - from AA Rosette award-winners to restaurants in the prestigious Michelin Guides, Bristol has a long list of restaurants, bistros and bars.
Sample the nightlife - there's a great selection of pubs and clubs located throughout the city, from Clifton's chic wine bars to the Old City's quirky pubs.
Day 4
Loose track of time amongst the fantastic stalls and quirky ambience of St Nicholas Market, located in the winding cobbled alleyways of Bristol's Old City. Visit the glass arcade for lunch on the go.
Stop for a drink at the historic Llandoger Trow pub on King Street.
Climb the Christmas Steps - an ancient, steep, winding street containing old shops, buildings and novelty stores that are well worth a look.
If that's not enough shopping for you then visit the recently redeveloped area of Broadmead with its new £500 million shopping and leisure quarter, that is Cabot Circus.
Day 5
Pay a visit to the new Blue Reef Aquarium with IMAX 3D Cinema.
Try scaling the walls at Undercover Rock - the biggest climbing centre in the South West, take to the Ice at Bristol Ice Rink or hire a bike and discover the ‘UK's first cycling' city on two wheels.
Take in a show at a choice of great theatres: The Bristol Hippodrome showing top west end theatre productions, Tobacco Factory or the recently renovated Bristol Old Vic, the UK's oldest working theatre which continues to draw in crowds from across the globe.
Day 6
Spend a day out of the city - you could meet rescued horses, ponies and donkeys at HorseWorld or take a ride on an authentic steam train on the Avon Valley Railway.
Explore centuries old Berkeley Castle and see what life was like in days gone by or visit Avon Valley Adventure & Wildlife Park for an exciting family day out.
For nature lovers, visit Westonbirt Arboretum, WWT Slimbridge or Cheddar Caves and Gorge.
Day 7
Take a tour of the Bristol Blue Glass Factory to see how the city's most famous export is created and have a go at blowing your own glass bubble, or explore the centuries-old gothic arches and beautiful stained glass windows of St Mary Radcliffe's church.
End your trip in style and luxury at one of the city's fantastic day spas or take to the skies with a hot air balloon flight.
