Welcome to South West England Beer Festival

The South West is renowned for quality, flavour and beauty, with the combination of lush pastures, the finest barley, hops and natural ingredients to produce some of the countries finest real ales and cider. Join us in ‘The Contented Cow’ to sample some of the region’s real ales and cider at the Exeter Festival of South West England Food and Drink ~ Beer Festival.

‘The Contented Cow’ who has for some years now been a feature at The Devon County Show, is a consortium of Devon craft brewers and one cider maker assisted by local CAMRA members.
At the South West England Beer Festival we shall offer 15 draught beers from 5 of the ‘Ales from Devon’ consortium, these beers will be available for consumption in the Beer Tent or to take home, we shall also be featuring a range of bottled beers from the South West.

The brewers are all members of SIBA (The Society of Independent Brewers), the trade organisation that represents the vast majority of brewers within the UK. Many of the staff are from CAMRA who are very knowledgeable about beers and if you are unsure about your choice, please ask for their advice about the styles and taste of beers that we have available.
